Arthrose de la main – vers une approche ciblée ?

Les options thérapeutiques de l’arthrose digitale sont toujours extrêmement limitées. Les options sont en grande partie réduites à des antalgiques. De nombreuses tentatives de traitements modificateurs de la maladie ont échoué. L’espoir existe toutefois de parvenir à des approches efficaces en définissant des endotypes et en sélectionnant mieux les patients.

Dans l’arthrose de la main, les douleurs chroniques sont la principale source de gêne, voire de handicap.

L’arthrose des mains est une maladie rhumatismale très fréquente à laquelle on n’accorde cependant pas l’attention qu’elle mérite. Cela s’explique probablement par le fait que les options thérapeutiques restent très limitées.
